Kayla Berry is a certified empowerment self-defense instructor with over 6 years of experience in teaching people safety, self-defense, and violence prevention. As a trauma-informed safety and empowerment educator, she teaches people how to act with clarity and courage—especially when the stakes are high. After navigating major life changes and starting her own mission-driven business, she now helps others break free from overthinking and take bold steps forward.
Krista Hanley is a writer, speaker, and violence prevention educator with over ten years of expertise facilitating programs in the areas of self-defense, trauma recovery, and embodiment. As a survivor of the Columbine High School shooting, Krista Hanley has turned her trauma into authentic advocacy. Through her small business, We Are Safer Together, Hanley teaches trauma-informed self-defense, safety, and empowerment workshops.
