This Statement of Privacy applies to wearesafertogether.com, and We Are Safer Together LLC (aka "Safer Together") and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to We Are Safer Together include our website wearesafertogether.com, any of our business management software products, our social media pages, any email messages we send, and any other products and services offered through any other venues, websites, or applications that direct you to this Privacy Policy. 

Collectively "Safer Together Services".

When you access or use Safer Together Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and that the information contained in this Privacy Policy serves as notice at or before the point of collection for all information collected as described below. The Safer Together website is an e-commerce business site. 

Collection of your personal information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Safer Together may collect personally identifiable information such as your:

• Contact details (e.g. name, address, email, phone number, and third party emergency contact information) 
• Personal details (e.g. age, gender, pronouns, accessibility needs)
• Financial and transaction data if you purchase Safer Together’s products and services (e.g. billing and credit card information, purchase history, etc.) This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

Safer Together may keep track of the pages our users visit within wearesafertogether.com, in order to determine what Safer Together services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising with Safer Together to best serve our customers.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Safer Together. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Safer Together website.

Safer Together secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We may also retain residual information, such as records to document that your request has been fulfilled.

For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. 

Use of service by minors

Safer Together services are not directed or targeted at children under the age of 16, and we request any minors under the age of 16 do not provide personal information to Safer Together. Instead, if you are under the age of 16, your parent or guardian must use this website on your behalf. We do not allow children under the age of 16 to use this website on their own and without the consent, knowledge, and full participation of their parent or guardian.

If the parent/guardian of the minor under the age of 16 engages Safer Together to offer services to the minor, Safer Together will collect the personally identifiable information about children under the age of sixteen. This information is to provide the best services to the minor when their parents/guardians sign them up to take classes with Safer Together. 

We collect the following data about children under sixteen:

• First and Last Name
• Address
• Age
• Gender and Pronouns
• Caregiver, Parent, Guardian First and Last Name
• Emergency Contact Information
• Accessibility Needs

We provide information about our personal data practices for children on our home page (via our privacy policy link) and wherever we knowingly collect personal data about children on our website. 

If you are a parent and you have questions regarding our data collection practices, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. 

Email communications

From time to time, Safer Together may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Safer Together or click on a link therein. 

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Safer Together, you may opt out of such communications by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button. 

Testimonials, ratings, and reviews

If you submit testimonials, ratings, or reviews to Safer Together, any personal information you include may be displayed on our site, social media, and in other marketing materials. You may always submit a testimonial to us and request it to be cited anonymously. If you want your testimonial removed, please email us at the email provided at the end of this document. 

We also partner with service providers to collect and display ratings and review content on our website.

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Safer Together is controlled and operated by us from the United States and is not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country, or territory other than that of the United States. Safer Together reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the website and/or services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
